Krea's first specialist AI, Ad Studio, turns a brand's website into still image ads
Krea's Ad Studio reads a brand's website, builds an editable brand kit and makes up to 12 still ads per batch. It makes no video, lists no price per ad, and so far the only evidence is Krea's own.
Krea's first specialist AI is not built for film. Ad Studio, released on Oct 29, turns a company's website into still image ads made with Krea 3, the image generator Krea launched two weeks earlier.
You paste a web address and Ad Studio reads the site. It builds a brand kit with the logo, colors, fonts, tone of voice, audience and selling points, then finds the products with their photos and prices (on Shopify stores it reads the product catalog). Everything in the kit can be edited before an ad is made, and one kit holds up to 20 products.
Then you choose where the ads will run and which products they feature. The Instagram feed gets 4:5 and 1:1, Stories and Reels get 9:16 and landscape feeds get 16:9, with up to 12 ads in one batch, each with its own layout and copy. Krea's chat assistant swaps a headline, background or size on request, and the whole campaign downloads as one file.
Krea timed one run on a real store. The brand kit took 49 seconds, six Story ads took 2 minutes 28 seconds, and the first download came about five minutes after the link was pasted.
The limits matter. Ad Studio makes still images, not video. It runs on every paid plan from Basic up, and brand research is free, but each ad spends the same plan credits as any other Krea 3 image and Krea publishes no price per ad. Every claim and picture so far comes from Krea itself, and its demo brand, the protein bar maker DAVID, is not affiliated with it or endorsing it.
Krea calls Ad Studio the first of several "Experts" and has not said what the next ones will do. One built for storyboards or film would be the bigger story for anyone making work.
Our take: Krea pointed its first specialist at the brand work many freelancers bill for. When the brief takes five minutes, the creative direction is what clients pay for.
