The work
Why the desk picked it
Twenty-five seconds of shaky, handheld-looking footage from a street race that never happened. Rory Flynn's clip plays like a bystander's phone video from the Fast & the Furious world, and the crash is the moment that sells it.
Flynn says he used Opus 5.5 and Blender to rebuild, or block, the scene in 3D, then generated the final shots with Seedance 2.5. His own reaction is the honest one: the crash physics got him.
The craft is in the blocking. Laying out the cars, camera and motion in 3D first gives the video model a scene to follow, rather than leaving it to guess, and that is why the impact lands with real weight.
For AI creators, it is a clear example of a hybrid workflow: classic 3D for control, generation for the finish.
