Why the desk picked it
This is anime at its core.
Malfoid's Diary, Ep. 2 is a 30-second short from nachos2d (@NACHOS2D_) that takes Harry Potter out of the wizarding world and into the dojo. The diary entry sets up the joke: every hit lands with a little heart. It is surprisingly funny and impressively consistent from shot to shot.
The FX track is flawless, and the character moves stay clean throughout. The fight mechanics feel transplanted from the late 90s and early 2000s Pokémon TV show, right down to the exaggerated impacts and cutaways. For AI creators, it shows that a clear genre reference and a single running gag can carry an episodic series.
