Higgsfield says it is on pace for $1B in annual revenue
Higgsfield says its revenue pace now tops $1 billion a year, but the figure is its own four-week snapshot multiplied by 13, and its CEO claims only roughly breakeven cash flow, not profit.
Higgsfield says it is now running at a revenue pace above $1 billion a year, according to figures the AI video platform gave Bloomberg on 24 September. The number is the company's own math: the last four weeks of revenue multiplied by 13, a method that flatters any business coming off a busy launch month. It follows the $700 million run rate Higgsfield claimed in August, when it raised $400 million at a $5.4 billion valuation.
The more telling figure is where the money now comes from. Subscriptions made up more than 90% of revenue at launch and now account for just over 60%, as usage-based spending grows, and the company says contracted business revenue is up tenfold since June. CEO Alex Mashrabov says Higgsfield has been roughly breakeven on cash flow for the past couple of months, which is a narrower claim than profitable.
In practice, brands making ads at volume are paying the bills, and the product is following them. The same evening, Higgsfield offered developers their API spend (the metered access other apps build on) back as credits. If you sell ad work, your client may already be generating its own variations on the same platform, and usage pricing that rises with length and quality gives no sign that renders are about to get cheaper.
