Zidan 子丹: Image : Midjourney 8.2

Zidan's 15-second subway boss fight, made with Midjourney 8.2 and Seedance 2.0, keeps both characters, the warrior and the monster, consistent through every cut. The only thing it lacks is an orchestral score.

Zidan 子丹 (liluocheng13 on X) has made a 15-second subway boss fight that plays like a cutscene lifted straight out of a AAA video game. A white-haired warrior crackling with blue lightning trades blows with a glowing green monster, and both characters hold from shot to shot: the warrior keeps the same face, hair and armor, the monster keeps its look, and neither drifts between cuts.

The character design and animation sit squarely in the Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry tradition, and so does the fight. The choreography is genuinely impressive, chaining launchers, air juggles and slams the way a combo system does, while sweeping camera moves give the whole piece movement, drama and a standout style of its own.

The sound design is on point too. The one thing missing is an epic, Final Fantasy style orchestral score to carry it home.

Production: the image was made in Midjourney 8.2 and the motion in Seedance 2.0. Zidan's prompt scripts the fight second by second across 15 timed beats, each with its own camera move, and asks for hit-stop (a fighting-game trick that freezes the frame for an instant on impact) of 2 to 3 frames on every heavy hit. In practice, that is a shot list written straight into the prompt.

An AI music video every 2.6 days. What do Chris and Crystal actually own?

Crystal Trimble and Chris Marsh post a polished AI music video every 2.6 days and sell the songs on YouTube and Spotify. Their legal line calls the work fully owned, but Suno's September terms warrant no copyright, cap Pro downloads at 20 a month, and the Copyright Office protects only the human lyrics and edit.

Illustration of an empty drum kit on a candlelit stage in a foggy graveyard at night, drumsticks crossed on the snare, blank headstones behind

A two-headed skeleton sits behind a drum kit in blue graveyard fog, a top-hatted ringmaster works a crowd of zombies, and a bride with a lantern walks between the headstones while a woman's voice sings the hook: "Wear another face tonight." The video is three and a half minutes long, it went up on YouTube on Thursday 1 October, and it is the 55th public upload from Chris & Crystal AI Art since the middle of May.

Crystal Trimble and her husband Chris Marsh make it look easy, and the craft deserves credit before anything else. The fog transitions are patient, the color stays locked to cold blue with hot orange candlelight, and the lyrics, which Crystal writes, lean into the strange ("Beautiful, but slightly wrong", "Nothing here has to be right if the strange looks good on you"). Their own description calls it an art film. It plays as a music video with no story arc, and as a Halloween music video it is a good one. The more interesting thing is the business it sits inside, and what the rules now say about it.
